On Friday, October 2, 2026, we invite you to join us for Power the Dream: The IRL Experience, the DC Public Library Foundation's fundraising gala celebrating the extraordinary power of libraries to strengthen communities and transform lives.Inspired by the Library's new IRL (In Real Life) strategic vision, this year's gala is rooted in three essential pillars of community well-being: Joy. Belonging. Resilience.
